About

Cardlings is a roguelite party builder game. You assemble a team of three Cardlings and fight through series of encounters.

Unlike traditional solo deckbuilders, Cardlings is built around identity. Every Cardling has a unique passive modifier called a Unique Sticker that defines how it plays. You then build around that identity by equipping additional stickers and selecting abilities from a shared elemental pool. Unlike deckbuilders, you can modify your Cardlings' abilities at any time.

The goal each run is simple: survive five floors while defeating the boss on each floor. Once you understand the game, a full run should take no more than an hour.

  • Choose an encounter from the Codex app. It could be a battle or a random digital event.
  • Fight 3v3 battles by playing elemental abilities of your Cardlings until no enemies remain.
  • Collect rewards like gold, sticker fragments, anima shards and sometimes new stickers or abilities.
  • Visit shops by swiping left or right from the Codex app to buy stickers, abilities, stat upgrades or even new Cardlings.
  • Reach the floor boss on room 5 of each floor and defeat it to progress.

Development Stage

Cardlings is currently under active development and seeking funding. We are reaching out to publishers who wants to invest in our project. If you are a publisher or an investory who's interested in the project, feel free to reach out to us!

We are also in need of an artist and currently seeking any artist who is interested as the main artist has decided to leave the project. All of the art you see of the project was done by him and we are in dire need to replace the old art with the new artist's vision. If you are interested, feel free to reach out!
